Register and Pay Taxes
To get to this page:
Different types of Taxes are imposed according to the state tax authority, the General Ledger program helps you register, pay different Taxes and print notices:
Value Added Tax Notice
Customer Withholding Tax

Value Added Tax Notice

Add a New Notice 

Enter the Tax Information: Notice date, customer/ supplier account, tax account, and journal number.
Enter the data of the Tax amount: currency, amount, and the applied tax according to the Egyptian Tax Authority, or the General Authority for Zakat and Tax. The program will automatically calculate the tax amount, and will use the registered currency factor to display the tax amount in local currency. To edit the currency factor, go to Currencies.
Set the Invoice/ Bill Information, and type (Customer, or Supplier Bill).
Click Save

Search for a Tax Notice 

Search for tax notices to print, or edit. Enter the journal number, or the dates of a specific period for filtration, then click Search.

Print a Notice 


Delete a Notice 

Notices created by other programs, can not be edited or deleted.
Withholding Tax for Customers/ Suppliers
Add a New Receipt 

Enter the data of the withholding tax receipt: type of receipt (Deduct, or Refund), date, branch, customer/ supplier account, tax account, total amount, type of tax, and currency, then click Save . Automatically, the program will display the withholding tax amount, according to the registered tax percentage. To change the withholding tax percentage, go to System Configuration.

Search for a Receipt 

Search for tax notices to print, or edit. Enter the journal number, or the dates of a specific period for filtration, then click Find/ Search.

Print a Receipt 

Print Journals Entries Report 

You can view and print journals entries, generated by the withholding tax transactions.

Delete a Receipt 

Receipts created by other programs, can not be edited or deleted
Registering the Payment of Supplier Withholding Tax

The program enables registering the payments of the withholding tax for suppliers, to the account of the Egyptian Tax Authority. Enter the start and end of the period, and select a supplier account, then click Load.

The program will display the search results, and the details of the receipts: date, total amount, percentage and amount of deduction, and other data. Select the receipts to register the payments, then click Save.
