Register and Manage Company Assets
The General Ledger program enables classifying the fixed assets into main types, specify the depreciation for each type, and specify the value of depreciation for each type of assets.

Different assets screens of different uses are provided by the program:
Assets Types: Enter and edit main assets types.
Assets: Add assets, track each asset status, and apply different actions on assets.
Import Assets: Import assets from Excel files.
Assets Units Transfer Request: To transfer assets between employees, or branches.
Assets Types
The program enables sectioning fixed assets into main types, specify the depreciation method for each type, and the value of the depreciation specified for this type of asset. When a new asset is registered, the program automatically applies the settings of the asset type, depreciation percentage, and accounts registered to the new asset.

Add a new Assets Type 

To register a new assets type, enter data: assets type code, and name, depreciation method, and rate. Also, enter the accounts data related to this assets type: assets account, accumulated depreciation account, depreciation expenses account, dedicated depreciation account, sale profit account, sale loss account, purchase account, then click Save .
Add all the accounts of the assets type, through the Chart of Accounts

Edit Data of an Assets Type
To edit the data of an assets type, click on Edit, after editing, click Save .

Delete an Assets Type 

Assets type that have registered assets cannot be deleted.

Add a New Asset 

Register a new asset, enter the main assets type name, and the asset code is automatically generated. Enter the general asset data, the purchase, and depreciation data, then click Save.

Edit Data of an Asset 

Search and locate the assigned asset to edit, click on Edit. After editing the data, click Save.

Actions on Assets
The program enables applying different actions on assets: depreciate, reduce, renew, sell, and roll out. Select the assigned asset, then click Edit.
Depreciate Asset
The program annually depreciate assets with the registered depreciation value, after depreciating assets, and transfer balances, at accounting period locking. Also, you can manually depreciate assets at any time. Select the assigned asset, enter data, then click Depreciate.

Depreciation history, and data of the asset is displayed, depreciation value and rate. Review the data, then click Depreciate.

Reduce Asset
To reduce the value of an asset, select the assigned asset, enter data, then click Reduce.

Asset data, reduction history, and asset value are displayed. Enter the reduction value, or percentage, then click Reduce/ Decrease.

Renew Asset
Register the data of assets renewal, select the assigned asset, enter data, then click Renew.

Renewal history is displayed, enter the supplier account, renew value and type, then click Renew.

Sell Asset
To record a sale of an asset, select the assigned asset, enter data, then click Sell.

Enter the data of the asset sale, the program will automatically calculate the profit/ loss, and will register the value in the previously assigned account (profit/ loss), then click Sell.

Rule Out Asset
To register the rule out of an asset, select the assigned asset, enter data, then click Rule out.

Current asset value is displayed, enter the scrap account, then click Rule out.

View Journal Entries 

You can view and print the journal entries of an asset (buy, sell, renew, depreciate, rule out).
Print Asset Report 

To view and print an asset report, asset data: code, name, main assets type, status, depreciation rate and value, and the related journal numbers, are displayed in the report.

Import Assets

The General Ledger program allows you to easily import data of assets from Excel. Enter the required data: Asset type, depreciation type, and rate, branch, and cost center, then click on the Excel icon .
Select an Excel file.
Select the Excel sheet, for the program to extract data from.
Required columns headers are shown, match with headers in the file.
Click on Load Data.

Imported data are listed, click on Add after reviewing the data.

Verify Imported Opening Balances
The program checks the imported data for any un registered accounts, or duplicated entry to show warning messages.
Assets Units Transfer Request
Transfer assets units between branches, or employees. Enter transfer data, and the transferred asset.

Enter transfer data, and the asset to transfer, the asset code, and description will be generated automatically, then click Save .

Search Transfer Requests 

Search through the registered transfer requests, enter the data of the period, then click Search. Filter the search data, enter the number, status of the request, or assets.

Print Codes of Assets Units

To print codes of assets units, select assets, then click Preview.

Name, codes, and code of assets type are displayed, click on New, and enter the layout name, then Save. Edit the design and click Print.
