Sales Organization
This screen is designed to configure sales organizations within the system, which serve as the primary entities responsible for overseeing and processing all sales-related activities. These defined sales organizations will be integrated throughout all transactional interfaces in the sales module to ensure consistent sales operations management.
The setup process begins by entering the sales organization's name in both primary and secondary languages for proper identification. The user then assigns the organization to its corresponding main branch within the company structure. Additionally, the sales organization can be linked to one or multiple warehouse management systems, as it may need to access inventory from various warehouse locations.
To complete the configuration, the user specifies the organization's physical address for reference and selects the appropriate ATP (Available-to-Promise) policy, which determines how inventory availability is checked and confirmed during sales order processing. This setup ensures seamless coordination between sales operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
